Okay, here’s something you might not have heard before, but it’s a game-changer: The Pareto Principle.
It’s this idea that 20% of what you do leads to 80% of your results.
Think about it:
- 20% of your gym exercises give you 80% of your muscle gains.
- 20% of companies dominate 80% of the market.
- 20% of people get noticed by 80% of potential partners.
It might sound like a theory, but it’s true in a lot of ways. There are certain traits that most people are attracted to.
Some of these are things you’re born with, like blue eyes or being tall.
But a lot of them are things you can actually work on and improve.
People say today’s society is superficial, and maybe it is.
But to win at anything, you need to understand the rules of the game. You need to know what gives you an advantage and what holds you back.
I’m going to share some tips that are proven to work and are good for your overall health too. So let’s dive in!
#1 — Highly attractive people take care of their skin

This might sound simple, but it’s a step that people often overlook: take care of your skin.
You might not notice minor imperfections on your own skin, but studies show that people quickly form a negative opinion of someone if their skin looks neglected.
Having healthy, glowing skin can make a bigger difference than you think.
And you don’t need a complicated skincare routine or expensive treatments to achieve it.
Here are a few easy steps:
- Stay hydrated: Drink plenty of water! This will make your skin glow, reduce dryness and dandruff, and even help with bloating.
- Moisturize: A simple moisturizer can go a long way in keeping your skin hydrated and healthy-looking.
#2 — Highly attractive people exercise and focus on the right muscles

You probably already know that exercise is great for your body and mind.
It helps you build strength, stamina, and resilience, both physically and mentally.
It also boosts confidence and mental clarity.
And confidence is a huge factor in attractiveness.
Someone with confidence and charisma will always be more attractive than someone who doesn’t, regardless of their physical appearance.
When you exercise, focus on these key muscles to maximize your results.
Remember the Pareto Principle – 20% of your muscles will give you 80% of the desired look!
Here’s what to focus on:
- Chest: A strong chest makes clothes fit better and improves your overall proportions.
- Shoulders: Surveys show that the most attractive men have a “reverse pyramid” shape, with shoulders wider than the waist.
- Triceps: This muscle makes up most of your arm and will give you a better look than focusing on your biceps.
- Traps: You don’t need a bodybuilder’s back, but strong traps will make your shirts fit better and are considered more masculine.
- Legs: You don’t need bulky legs, but they should be proportionate to the rest of your body.
A great physique is all about balance and proportion.
You don’t have to be a bodybuilder or an athlete.
Focus on keeping the right muscles in good shape, maintaining a healthy body fat level, and wearing clothes that fit well.
#3 — Highly attractive people keep their body fat on track
You’ve probably seen super strong people, even athletes or strongmen, who lift heavy weights but still have a good amount of body fat.
They’re incredibly powerful, but they might still look a bit overweight.
That’s the difference keeping your body fat in a healthy range can make.
But what’s healthy for one person might not be the same for another.
Some people have visible abs at 14% body fat, while others, like me, need to be closer to 11%.
So, there’s no one-size-fits-all number. Experiment and track your own progress.
While there are general guidelines for body fat and BMI, you’ll need to figure out what’s right for you. Just remember, as a man, having healthy testosterone levels is important for attractiveness.
If your body fat gets too low, like below 10%, you won’t have enough fat for proper hormone function, which can affect testosterone.
#4 — Highly attractive smell nice and are well trimmed

You know those videos where someone gets a haircut and they look like a completely different person?
That’s the power of a great haircut.
So, find a hairstylist you trust who really knows their stuff.
But even with the perfect cut and beard, it’s easy to go from sharp to sloppy in a few weeks.
If that doesn’t fit your style, you need to figure out how often you need to get trims and cuts.
Experiment a bit until you find what works for you.
Also, your scent is basically a part of your signature. Sometimes, your cologne introduces you before you even say a word.
Here’s what to keep in mind when choosing one:
- Don’t follow the crowd: Just because a cologne is popular doesn’t mean it’s right for you.
- Test it out: See how it smells on your skin. Scents can react differently to different people.
- Match the occasion: Some scents are better suited for specific events or settings.
- Match the season: Light, fresh scents are better for warm weather, while warmer, spicy scents work well in colder months.
- Choose what you love: Whether you like woody, sweet, or sporty scents, try them on and see how you feel.
- Don’t overdo it: No one wants to be overwhelmed by a strong cologne. Your scent should be subtle but noticeable.
#5 — Highly attractive people pay attention to their posture

Did you know that even though we’re great with words, most of our communication happens through body language?
In the book “Thinking Fast and Slow,” Daniel Kahneman talks about two ways we think: System 1 is our automatic, gut feeling, and System 2 is our slower, more deliberate thinking.
Our System 1 is constantly processing information without us even realizing it.
For example, when we see someone with an angry expression, we automatically make assumptions about them, even if we don’t want to.
The same goes for posture.
Your posture sends signals about your confidence, success, and even your stress levels.
Attractive people not only pay attention to their posture but actively work to improve it through activities like stretching, warming up before exercise, yoga, pilates, or swimming.
These are just a few tips to help you become more attractive, but they can make a huge difference.
